Opioid Therapy

Opioids can be taken safely for pain relief. For safety reasons, we refill opioid medications during the office visit. All prescribed mediations will be electronically faxed to your local pharmacy.

We have a monitoring program to test the medications that are being prescribed to you.

For us to safely provide opioid therapy to our community, we must uphold the highest standard of care. Online prescription monitoring is maintained in this office on a regular basis.

The following brochure links will review the potential risks and benefits of opioid therapy, and what you can expect once you start taking an opioid medication.
