ANDREW HESSELTINE, M.D., CEO & President
Andrew Hesseltine, M.D., is the CEO and President of Inland Pain Medicine. He established his practice in 2002, which is now one of the most reputable Pain Specialty Medical Groups in our area today. Dr. Hesseltine graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine, where he completed his residency in Anesthesiology and fellowship training in Pain Management. He is Board Certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. In addition, his experience is remarkable. He served as Assistant Professor at Loma Linda University department of Anesthesiology, Medical Directorship for Multiple facilities, Toxicology Lab Director and is also recognized across the country as a speaker and educator for Intrathecal Pump & Neuromodulation. Today, Dr. Andrew Hesseltine serves as Chief Medical Officer leading our industry in pain care for the community and develops a customized program for each individual and their needs. Through clinical research as a principle investigator, he focuses on better outcomes. Dr. Hesseltine continues to perform surgeries along with clinical visits on a daily basis and enjoys creating a healthier community

MELIKA HESSELTINE, COO & Vice President
Melika Hesseltine, COO is Inland Pain Medicine’s Vice President. Leading this organization since 2004, she expands Inland Pain Medicine one department at a time, personally, to where it is today. She drives execution of strategies outlined directly by the CEO and delivers results on a day to day basis. Melika maintains business performances at all four facilities. She oversees the leadership team and manages the tactical and operational side of the corporation. She is instrumental in developing physicians and employees through processes and systems. Her mission is to give medical professionals the ability to improve patient outcomes. In addition, Melika serves on committees that help physicians. Mrs. Hesseltine offers a managing style that thinks outside the box. Her innovation and energy goes to creating new jobs. With her ability to transcend ideas into execution, Melika is passionate about healthcare and grateful the acquisition of knowledge it has given her.

TRAVIS MARTIN, MD, MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Travis Martin, MD is an interventional pain management specialist at Inland Pain Medicine, passionate about complex pain, neuroscience, and the psychology of painful conditions. Through his training, he has developed an appreciation for new technologies including neuromodulation and regenerative medicine. He is dual boarded in Emergency Medicine and Pain Medicine. With an uncommon background in Emergency Medicine and a subspecialty of pain medicine, Dr. Martin takes an unparalleled approach to chronic pain through his experience diagnosing and stabilizing acute surgical and traumatic injuries.
After completing an enlistment in the United States Air Force as a Korean Linguist and Airborne Reconnaissance Specialist, with three Combat tours to Afghanistan, Dr. Martin earned his Undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska. He then completed his Medical Doctorate at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine.
Following medical school, Dr. Martin completed his Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Arizona College of medicine, where he received top honors and awards for establishing an ultrasound-guided pain treatment
algorithm for emergency department patients. He was also recognized as a top scholar during his graduation for excellence in Toxicology through his continued research and presentations on local anesthetic toxicity and snake envenomation pain presentations. His Emergency Medicine training provided him a unique perspective on complex wound care, pre- and post-surgical care, and traumatic pain presentations.
Post-residency, Dr. Martin furthered his expertise with a Pain Medicine Fellowship at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s in Boston, Massachusetts. During this fellowship, he learned from pioneers in the field, gaining insights into complex pain scenarios that he continues to address in his practice. Dr. Martin brings a multi-faceted diagnostic and therapeutic approach to his patients, shaped by extensive training, military service, and diverse regional experiences.
Dr. Martin is active in many medical and professional associations, including the International Intervention Society, the American College of Emergency Physicians, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience, and the North American Neuromodulation Society.
